The Union Building is located on the Bund in Shanghai. Completed in 1916, it was used by a number of insurance companies. The 6-storey building was P&T’s first project in Shanghai and the first to use a steel structure. Due to the narrow frontage, the main entrance was located on the side, on Quangdong Road.

The architecture is Neo-Renaissance with some Baroque details and it features a domed pavilion at the corner.
