Alexandra House, completed in 1976, was the 1st phase of a comprehensive masterplan for Hong Kong Land which also included the adjoining Landmark complex.

The project is linked to the mass transit railway underground station and to adjoining major buildings by pedestrian bridges. The 30 storey office tower rises above a two level podium. Exclusive retail is formed adjacent to the main entrance foyer located on level two and at the street level.

Pure structural expression is used as the architectural language for the tower. Porrino granite lines all spandrel beams and columns are finished in white mosaic tile. Bronze glass and matching aluminum frames are employed for all windows.
