SENIOR DESIGN ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
 Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of post-graduate experience in the UAE.
 Corporate membership of a relevant institution
 Competent user of industry standard software such as ETAP/Dialux/Hevacomp/EASE
 An in-depth knowledge of all aspects of Electrical Building services, both Technical and contractual.
 The ability to quickly assess the integrity of a design with respect to completeness and practicality.
 Good communication skills, experience in dealing with other employees and external clients.
 Confident, proactive character, with a track record of taking the lead in challenging situations.
 Ability to run projects successfully.
 Previously worked on various projects including residential, commercial and mixed used developments
 Conducting in-house Design Reviews, evaluating constructability issues.
 Demonstrated knowledge of HV/MV electrical design, procurement and construction means/methods and codes.
 Demonstrated knowledge of telecommunications design, construction and procurement standards and codes.
 Demonstrated knowledge of street lighting design construction and procurement standards and codes.

Key responsibilities / duties include:
• Produce outline design, scheme design and detail design reports including drawings and specifications.
• Good spoken and written English; able to communicate directly with the clients/contractors.
• Take proactive role in influencing the design of the buildings in relation to efficient services integration and building energy performance.
• Ensure milestones are accomplished and deliverables are on time
• Work competently on an independent basis
