LEAD ENGINEER - SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER
HVAC (PRIMARILY) + PUBLIC HEALTH

 Produce outline design, scheme design and detail design reports including drawings and specifications.
 Good spoken and written English; able to communicate directly with the clients/contractors.
 Take proactive role in influencing the design of the buildings in relation to efficient services integration and building energy performance.
 Ensure milestones are accomplished and deliverables are on time
 Work competently on an independent basis

Capabilities and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a positive and enthusiastic team player, who holds a relevant engineering degree / Master’s degree (preferred) in a relevant discipline and will be chartered or at least working towards. With relevant and significant Building Services Consultancy experience, minimum 5 years (GCC) and 12 years overall.

The ideal candidates must have:
• Health Care, Hotels, Commercial & Residential design experience
• Experience of substantial, complex construction projects.
• Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Extensive knowledge of Mechanical Engineering systems.
• Knowledge and understanding of the wider built environment and all the associated design influences.
• Appreciation and experience of the Technical Standards, and relevant American/British/European standards and codes.
• An understanding of the legislative environment regarding carbon emission reduction and sustainability.
• As minimum: a good understanding of HTM, NFPA, ASHRAE and CIBSE codes & standards
TEAM LEADER - SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
 Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 12 years of post-graduate experience
 Corporate membership of a relevant institution
 Competent user of industry standard software such as ETAP/Dialux/Hevacomp/EASE
 An in-depth knowledge of all aspects of Electrical Building services, both Technical and contractual.
 The ability to quickly assess the integrity of a design with respect to completeness and practicality.
 Good communication skills, experience in dealing with other employees and external clients.
 Confident, proactive character, with a track record of taking the lead in challenging situations.
 Ability to run projects successfully.
 Previously worked on various projects including residential, commercial and mixed used developments
 Conducting in-house Design Reviews, evaluating constructability issues.
 Ability to advise the Project Management team and Client on technical issues regarding the interface with utility agencies.
 Demonstrated knowledge of HV/MV electrical design, procurement and construction means/methods and codes.
 Demonstrated knowledge of telecommunications design, construction and procurement standards and codes.
 Demonstrated knowledge of street lighting design construction and procurement standards and codes.

The successful candidate will have previously worked on a mixed range of projects. He will be responsible for leading projects and mentoring a team of Senior / intermediate electrical engineers. The role is client facing so previous experience in leading projects and attending design and client meetings is a must.
